About Breast Pumps

What we do

We publish general guides about breast pumps: pump types, insurance coverage, renting, used pumps and sharing, parts and flange fit, using a pump, cleaning and sanitizing, milk storage, pumping at work, and travel.

What we do not do

Breast Pumps is the name of this site, not a claim about any pump. We are not doctors, nurses, or lactation consultants, and nothing on this site is medical advice. We do not sell breast pumps, new or used. We do not publish prices, deals, reviews, ratings, rankings, or product picks. We do not claim to have tested products. We do not accept payment to recommend a retailer, brand, or product.

How we keep it accurate

Facts come from the FDA, federal rules in the eCFR, the CDC, HealthCare.gov, the HHS Office on Women's Health, the U.S. Department of Labor, the TSA, and IBLCE, each linked on the page that uses it. None of them endorses this site or approves any product. We do not say that any pump is approved or cleared by the FDA.

Who runs the site
