Who is Breast-pumps.com?

Welcome to Breast-Pumps.com, an authorized Medela retailer since 1998 and an authorized Ameda retailer since 2003.  Breast-Pumps.com is owned and operated by me, Maurenne Griese, RN, BSN, a licensed registered nurse.  I am a one woman operation.  I am the person who processes, packs and ships all orders.  I also developed and maintain several health care related websites, including this one!

As a nursing professional, I have published several articles in several peer reviewed journals about breastfeeding and childbirth including the International Journal of Childbirth Education, the American Journal of Maternal Child Nursing and the Journal of Obstetrics, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing.  I have also published many articles on the web relating to pregnancy birth and breastfeeding and served as a contributing editor for Pregnancy and Childbirth at Suite101.com.

As a breastfeeding advocate, I have served on the ProMom Advisory Board providing online breastfeeding assistance free of charge to women around the world. I am a charter member of the Flint Hills Breastfeeding Coalition, a non profit organization started in 1994 that is devoted to protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding in our local community.

My aim is to assist breastfeeding families with reaching their breastfeeding goals. As a licensed health care professional, I am committed to providing you the best quality service available anywhere when it comes to breastfeeding products and support.
